At Raparin Technical and Vocational Institute, we strongly believe that our human resources (students, teachers, staff, and visitors) are the institute's most valuable asset. According to this policy, the institute considers itself responsible for fulfilling its legal and moral duties to secure a safe, healthy, and risk-free environment for learning and working to ensure the well-being of teachers, students, and all personnel.

HSE Responsibilities
Safety is a shared responsibility. To achieve our HSE goals, the following roles and responsibilities have been established:
Institute Management
- Provide adequate resources, training, and equipment to maintain a safe environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national health and safety regulations.
- Establish clear HSE objectives and review performance regularly.
HSE Department
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Organize HSE training sessions, drills, and awareness campaigns.
Staff and Teachers
- Follow all safety rules and procedures relevant to their work.
- Ensure that students are supervised and follow safety instructions.
- Report any hazards, near-misses, or incidents immediately to the HSE department.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
Students
- Adhere to all safety instructions provided by teachers and HSE staff.
- Use equipment and tools only after proper training and authorization.
- Keep the learning environment clean and free from hazards.
- Report any unsafe conditions or accidents to their instructor or HSE.

- Zero Accidents: Strive for zero workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and control all potential hazards in workshops, labs, and classrooms.
- Emergency Preparedness: Maintain effective emergency response plans, including fire safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
- Training & Awareness: Provide continuous HSE education to students and staff to enhance safety awareness.
- Environmental Care: Promote waste management, energy conservation, and sustainable practices on campus.
